kinfolk

Amazing cookbook, I cannot sing its praises enough. Perhaps it is because once again I am in awe of another Oregon author, even if they are not originally from Oregon, I just live across the river in Vancouver Washington so Portland is close and I to have enjoyed browsing Powell’s Books and the Saturday Market. Unfortunately since I have become ill I don’t get to go out and do those things that often anymore.   I hope to one day be able to.

What I love the most about “The Kinfolk Table” is the fact it keeps food simple from everyday people who have jobs, who have families. I love that they don’t have big fancy dinner parties that Martha Stewart might rave about with fancy linens or crazy recipes that make me think why in the world would I want to eat that? The photography is awesome too, creative and shows how creative some souls can be.
