Russ Whitney’s story of finding the meaning of life after losing some things in his life is a story I am familiar with. I find it interesting that often times it is in disaster and chaos that we find God and love. I know that is the case with me. “The Inner Voice” is a book of spiritually finding the answers, using the voice inside to find the answers to questions and learning to surrender and listen. I personally have a hard time listening and surrendering. Though I know listening is part of my life’s purpose. I just often times have my mouth running to offer advice even when it is not asked. Being conscious of this is a step in the right direction.
I enjoyed reading “Inner voice” I especially loved the charts in the back of the book. One of the charts I know I will be using is called “the character/behavior asset”. You evaluate yourself daily in your journal to see what needs to change and then come up with an action plan for the next week. I like that, a good tool to add to my tool kit.
If you are on your own journey then this book is a great asset in guiding you to the voice from God and learning to surrender, trust, and listen.
