Music For My Soul

I thought I would share some songs that have been speaking to me this week.

1) Something In The Water by Carrie Underwood: This song makes me cry big time. Watch the video, read the lyrics and tell me if it doesn’t make you love Jesus all the more.

2) I’m not who I was by Brandon Heath:  When I first heard this song I thought of my nephew Ric who is only 3 years younger than I am. There has been a lot of pain, abuse, and miss communication between us. His mom is my big sister. She and I grew up with an abusive mother. So in return she did the same thing to him. Their relationship was warped. Ric and I were like vinegar and oil. My heart still hurts that we are not able to be apart of each others lives. I love him. I have forgiven him for many of the complications and hurtful things he has done.

3) Oysters by Tori Amos: It’s Tori. I don’t need to say more than that.
