Progeny

While reading “The Progeny” by Tosca Lee I thought my family has issues. We don’t have issues like the Bathory family.

The Progeny takes you on a journey of the decedents of Elizabeth Bathory, the lady who was tried in the 1600’s for murdering a lot of women. She is considered to be the first woman serial killer. I got lost in the story. It was hard to put it done to get other chores done.

Here is what I took from reading “The Progeny”:

  • Protecting those you love is sometimes a sacrifice.
  • Sometimes you don’t know the truth about someone or what happened. Assumptions are dangerous.
  • Unfortunately your ancestors curse can become a part of your life.
  • Power hunger individuals have no qualms in destroying anyone who gets in their way towards their goal.
  • Love does conquer all.

I’m looking forward to reading book two and dive even deeper into the Bathory family history and discover if Audra and Luka make it. This is a great story to get lost in. I hope you will give it a chance.

In exchange for my honest opinion I was given The Progeny by Tosca Lee by Howard Books. My opinions are my own.
