Another surgery had bit the dust. Surgery 120 and counting was a success. When I went in my trachea was only open 1 CM. Think about this, it takes 2CM to make an inch. Dr. A opened it to 12 CM and I notice a huge difference immediately afterwards.

This is what I have noticed now that oxygen is flowing.

  • My limbs are not swelling like they were before my surgery. I am curious to see how being low on oxygen affects the fluids in your body.
  • I am no longer struggling to get into my bath tub.
  • My mucus is running freely and that makes me happy

Since being home I have been sleeping a lot. That is another thing that gets better when I am not feeling like I am suffocating all the time. Monday starts my busy month of medical appointments.

Until next time,

Jamie
