Professional fighting isn’t a sport that I am crazy about. However, I admire the dedication, focus, and strength it takes to train to be a UFC or MMA or boxer. I don’t have that type of dedication or purpose. In Cody Garbrandts book The Pact he shares his story of how he discovered his purpose and achieved the title. He also shares the story of his special relationship with a boy name Maddux who was fighting in another way. Maddux had cancer and was fighting for his life.

This story is inspirational in that two people got together and encouraged each other to keep fighting for the purpose and goals. I love that. As someone with an illness that often times makes me feel like giving up I need that type of encouragement and purpose to not give up and to keep on fighting.

I think any young man would enjoy this book, especially those who are into wrestling, boxing, MMA, UFC, or any type of fighting sport. This would encourage you and speak to your heart and soul.
