Wow, May has gone by so fast, hasn’t it? It is time for my empties post for May. I have tried some new products this month and there was one that I am not a fan of. I will explain when I get to that product.

Let’s get started:

  • Purlisse Blue Lotus Balancing Moisturizer: I got this in my Ipsy bag for the month of April. It was a water gel and it felt nice on my skin. It is for oily and combination skin types. I a: m super dry, so the moisture was not enough for me. I still enjoyed the product.
  • Grove Gel Hand Soap Lemon, Eucalyptus & Mint.: I enjoyed using this hand soap from Grove, so much so that I am getting more. I got the lavender and rosemary one. This bag refills my bottle three in a half times.
  • Jigott Potato Face Mask: When I first received this mask in my Facetory package for the month of march I was not sure about it. Potato for my face, strange right? Well, I liked how it made my face feel.
  • I’m Sorry For My Skin Jelly Mask: Another great mask that I got from Facetory.
  • VT Gold Probiotic Mask: Another great face mask that I got from Facetory. Probiotics for skin care, I am not exactly sure what is the idea behind this but it did make my face feel nice afterwards.
  • Sun’s Out, Pout’s Out Lip Mask: I tried a lip mask. I have gotten several of these and I give them my caregiver and her daughters who enjoy doing them. I got four recently from my Ipsy so I decided to try one. It is not my favorite. So I gave the three remaining to my caregiver. They enjoy them.
  • Flower Power Rose Stem Cells Under Eye Face Mask: They are shaped like flowers and are so cute. I do not usually use an eye mask but I decided to use these. So cute!
  • Extreme Moisture Face Mask: Another great mask I got from Facetory. It truly hydrated my dried skin well.
  • Glam Straight Gold Foil Face Mask: OH my goodness this is such a cute mask. It is leopard print and black. I love it. I got two of them and I am going to enjoy using them.
  • Korean Exfoliant Mitt: I got this in the Naked Beauty box. It is not an empty, but a new tool for me to use. I am enjoying this mitt so much. I use it on my feet. It is for face or body. My face is sensitive and this mitt would be too much for it, so I am choosing to use on my feet. I love how it sloughs off the dead skin and make my feet feel amazing.
  • Wicked Good Detox Bath Salts: Okay, remember me saying there is a product that I tried that I would not use again every. This is it. I love bath salts, but these bath salts turn the water black because of the lava and charcoal in them. Not inviting at all. It felt like I was soaking in dirty water. Not a good feeling. I am sure it has benefits for my body, but black water. Not a good thing.
  • Son and Park Beauty Water: I got this sample from Facetory. I used as a toner after I washed my face. I liked it a lot.
  • Gypsy Soul Lavender Face Toner: I have never used face toner before so this was a new thing for me. I enjoyed it a lot. I love the tingly on my face.
  • Hello Soothing Mint Sensitivity relief toothpaste: I love this toothpaste. I have a sensitive mouth. Toothpaste burns my mouth so bad sometimes it makes it hard for me to brush them. This one does not burn me at all.
  • Hey Honey Eye Cream: I love eye cream. This one was nice to use.
  • Voltaren Gel: I have Rheumatoid Arthritis and other types of pain because of my Vasculitis and living with a trach tube so I use this regularly. This gets the job done for me. Great stuff.

I hope you all have a great memorial day weekend. It is extremely warm in my neck of the woods. I live in Washington State and it is in the upper 80’s. Beautiful, but it causes my trach tube to dry out therefore, breathing is a challenge for me. I am staying in hooked to my large volume nebulizer keeping moist. I will keep busy by listening to a great book I am into, geting some writing done and watching Facts of Life. I recently purchased all the seasons of the Facts of LIfe. I’m remembering being a little girl enjoying this joy. I felt a kinship to Natalie and Jo. What about you?
