Many of you who have been reading my blog for a long time know about my breathing issues and the struggle I have been going through. Including, my recent 4 procedures for my lungs with the last one being in October. Well, Karen Kingsbury book A Thousand Tomorrows is a love story between horse riders who do barrel racing and their love story. It is sad, especially the end, but it also has hope, promise, and looking beyond your illness and in how you can help someone else live well as we you learn to navigate your own path. I’m not a big sappy love story person. I don’t do Nicholas Sparks, but this story touched my heart because of the character who has cystic fibrosis and a young man. They loved each other deeply and they were together until the end. Plus, horses, lots of horses. I love horses. I want to ride a horse again. One day I will. When you read this book, get a box of Kleenix and be prepared to shed a few tears. This is a good story. Apparently, this book has been made into a series. Never heard of it, I am going to look for it.
