I have been enjoying reading children’s books. I know, I’m a grown woman and I am reading a book for an 8 year old. They are fun, colorful, and they take me to a time when I used to read all the time and make up movies in my mind.
The Inkwell Chronicles: Race to Krakatoa by J.D. Peabody who lives in the Pacific Northwest where I do is a fabulous adventure book for children, preteens, teenagers, and even adults like me. My attention was captured. I was not bored. I was inspired and I enjoyed the storyline immensely.
This novel is 356 pages long and would be perfect for children to practice their reading, read to their parents, or teacher, because I know they will not be bored. Children have beautiful imaginations. Peabody is an excellent writer. I recommend this children’s. I have a couple of children in mind that I am going to give this book to.
